Our 2009 Graduates
Ponder Their Futures

For their final Computer Class project, students each chose a publically-available photo which represented a vision of their own future. Then they planned and took photographs of each other to blend in, and used photo-editing software to combine the two images. Here are the dream futures of our 2009 graduates!

Next year I will attend Christian Brothers. After Christian Brothers I will hopefully attend West Point, where I will meet a rich dashing young man with blonde hair and blue eyes who would be the quarterback for the football team, named either Lucas, Jake, or Blake whom will propose to me after I graduate. Then I will become a famous actress, as my cover up of being a spy for the CIA and marry Jake, Lucas, or Blake and then have four kids. We will live in the Bahamas and have a 200 acre property with a multi-billionare dollar house with 40 horses, 50 deer, 20 cheetahs and a Greyhound named Tanner, Zach, or Cutie. Wanting to expand my career, I will become president of the United States!

Next year I am going to be attending the International Baccalaureate at Mira Loma High School. After I graduate from High School, I plan on either going into the medical field, polictics or into the field of law. I will try to receive some scholorships to prestigious universities.

I shall be attending Rio Americana High School next year where I plan to play football and basketball, and take a difficult set of classes. From Rio, I hope to get a scholorship for sports or acedemics, to a top university, where I hope to exceed in my studies, and get into an enjoyable occupation.

Next year, I shall be attending El Camino High School. During my time at El Camino, I plan on playing for the school’s basketball team. I will try my hardest and hopefully become a Varsity Letterman. After graduating from El Camino I plan on attending a respectable university and receive my degree in, preferably, engineering. I plan on finding a profitable engineering career that I am confortable with.

Colby's dream future

Next year I am going to Mira Loma High School for the International Baccalaureate program. Afterward, I plan to attend either San Diego State or Stanford. Harvard Law School will be the next step in my education. After college, I want a large penthouse-style apartment somewhere near the ocean that is a little cold (because I hate the heat) or Europe (either place is fine). I want one or two kids with a blond cocker spanial puppy. However, my ultimate goal is to become a vampire and be with my one true love Edward Cullen!!! But if that doesn’t work out, I’ll marry Taylor Lautner (hubba hubba) and live happily ever after. And remember: Beware of female spies!

Next year, I will be attending El Camino High School. After that, my goal is to attend Standford University to play volleyball and marry my prince charming, aka the future quarterback of the San Fransico 49ers or Taylor Lautner. I know its far out there, but my dream is to someday go to the Olympics and win gold. I would like to live somewhere tropical, maybe around Belize or the Bahamas, in a mansion right on the beach. I like big families, and I plan on having four kids. When I retire from my athletic career, I would like to be a sports broadcaster for the NFL or AVP. When I retire from working, I would like to travel the world and write books about vampires.

Next year I am going to go to El Camino high school, and after that I plan to attend UC Santa Barbara, majoring in photography. After college, I would like to become a professional photographer and live in an apartment in San Francisco. I hope to eventually become an independent photographer, not working for another company or studio, and take mostly real life and urban shots. I also love writing, so I’d probably do some of that on the side. If I do have kids, I probably won’t have any until later in my life, because I want to concentrate on my career and I wouldn’t want to raise kids in a small city apartment. I might have a small pet, like a fish or a hamster, but I probably won’t have the time or enviornment to have any other pets while living in the city. I plan to just enjoy life and throw myself into my photography, because it is my favorite pass time.

After I graduate from Carden, next year I will attend Rio Americano High School where I will use the study skills I learned from Carden to help me achieve my goals. After I graduate from High School I will hopefully attend a prestigious college. I would like to be a doctor, dentist, or lawyer because I would like to help people in need.

Michael's dream future

I know you want to hear about all about my amazing dreams, of being president, or spy, or something crazy like that. But I have to be honest, I will attend El Camino High School, and hopefully get a scholarship to Cal Berkley. After I graduate Cal I would like to join the Peace Corps, to help other people, and see new places. After the Peace Corps I want to move to the west, where I could buy a ranch, with tons of horses, and cattle, with three Saint Bernards. That’s where I see myself 20 years from now.
