Spring Activities!
Our campus is especially beautiful this time of the year. Many plants and trees are blooming, and Mr. Joe has been busy around campus pruning roses and other plants, trimming trees, fertilizing and raking leaves. Everything is looking beautiful, Mr. Joe!
Starting with our Spring Concert and Family Picnic (March 20) followed by our Open House and Science Fair (April 2), our French Culture Day (April 23), and on through the end-of-year field trips, every one of our students will be challenged and stimulated in new ways throughout the Spring.
I ask the children to continue performing at their highest level and enjoy coming to school each day. During assemblies in the morning, the children and I talk about keeping their parents informed of the many activities coming up on our calendar. ( Click here for our annual calendar.) Parents, please be sure to read the flyers we send home and communicate with your child about the important dates and times for all thsee upcoming events.
Enrollment for the 2009-10 school year continues to increase, and some classes are almost full. If you know of families who may still wish to join our school community please remind them to call the school as soon as possible, since space is limited. Remember, tours are scheduled daily in the morning and early afternoon by calling the school office, or by contacting us with this form.
Thank you to everyone!
I would like to take this time and place to thank each and every one of you for your continued support for Carden School of Sacramento. The Parent’s Club Board members and many of our Carden parents have worked hard and long toward a successful school year.
Plan ahead now to join us at Sacramento First Church of the Nazarene for our annual graduation performance on Tuesday June 2, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. Our students in every grade will be working very hard on their tribute to the eighth grade graduates, so come and show your support for all these worthy students.
